Storyline

This tells the story of a strong friendship between a young boy with Morquio's syndrome and an
older boy who is always bullied because of his size. Adapted from the novel, Freak the Mighty, 

the film
explores a building of trust and friendship. Kevin, an intelligent guy helps out Maxwell to improve his reading skills.
In return, Kevin wants Maxwell to take him out places since 

he is not allowed out unauthorized. Being the
social outcasts of the town, Kevin and Maxwell come to realize that they are similar to each other and accept that they
are "freaks" and 

nothing will stop them







Kevin è un ragazzo di costituzione molto esile affetto da una malattia
chiamata Sindrome di Morquio, ma con straordinaria intelligenza. Max al contrario, è un ragazzo di corporatura 

massiccia, timido e con una grave difficoltà a socializzare, il che lo rende facile bersaglio degli altri
ragazzi del quartiere. L'amicizia che unirà Kevin e Max quando si troveranno ad 

essere vicini di casa, li
farà diventare inseparabili. Compiono diverse gesta,come recuperare la borsetta di una signora dalle fogne, ma quando
l'oggetto viene portato alla legittima 

proprietaria, Max scopre che quest'ultima è la moglie del compagno
di cella del padre di Max (finito in galera per aver ucciso la madre di Max). Insieme diventano 

imbattibili..................
